  • For the last year, the church has moved through the process of installing Dr. Doug Hood and Dr. Greg Rapier as co-pastors, in anticipation of Dr. Hood's retirement in approximately 3 1/2 years. The Co-pastoring model for pastoral leadership is one in which two pastors share equally in serving the needs of a congregation. This process began in early 2023 when the Session approved this model. Following information provided in newsletters, articles and two Town Halls, the congregation unanimously approved the model in March 2024. In May, the Presbytery approved this by a supermajority. The final step is the installation service on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Come and support Doug and Greg as they begin this co-pastoring journey.
